Dear SFB TR 15 members:
one important topic of the internal SFB meeting in autumn 2010 will be the preparation of the renewal proposal ("Fortsetzungsantrag") for the DFG.

Invitation and Call for Papers
In context of the SFB's strive for gender equality, we would like to point out the possibility of bringing along your small children and a child-minder (Betreuungsperson) to the conference in Bonn.
For accommodation, please get in touch with us by September 1.
The GSI is located at Langer Grabenweg 68 in Bonn-Bad Godesberg. You will find detailed information on how to reach the conference place by following this link:

Our suggestions for the conference break on Thursday afternoon are either a visit to the nearby "Kunstmuseum Bonn" and its exhibition "The Luminous West" (http://www.kunstmuseum-bonn.de/en/ausstellungen/aktuell/info/ex/der-westen-leuchtet-153/)
or a walk through the Rheinauen park. If you are interested in going to the museum, please send a short mail to info@sfbtr15.de by October 4, so we can reserve some tickets (at your own expense, app. € 7). You are, of course, also free to spend your break at your own initiative. We are happy to assist you in finding your way e.g. to the "Beethovenhaus" (http://www.beethoven-haus-bonn.de/sixcms/detail.php?template=portal_de), the "Haus der Geschichte" (http://www.hdg.de/bonn/) or whatever raises your interest.
